Sam Alcock Recognised in Construction Week’s Power 150

Tenable Fire Engineering Consultancy (FEC) is proud to share that Sam Alcock, Chief Executive Officer, has been named in the Construction Week Power 150 list for 2025. The annual ranking celebrates the region’s most influential leaders shaping the future of the built environment.

Sam’s journey with Tenable FEC began in 2013, when he joined as a Fire Consultant. Over the past decade, he has played a key role in driving the company’s strategic growth across its key markets. After being appointed Dubai Director in 2016, Sam played a critical role in building Tenable’s reputation as a trusted fire engineering partner across the GCC.

His appointment as CEO in 2025 marked a new chapter for the organisation. Under his leadership, Tenable FEC became Salamah-approved in Saudi Arabia, enabling access to major projects while reinforcing compliance with national fire safety regulations. Sam also oversaw the company’s expansion across Dubai, Riyadh and India, balancing regional growth with sustainable operations.

In 2024, he led a company-wide restructuring to support long-term agility, resulting in a 25% increase in revenue to $5.4 million. With a fully operational office in Riyadh, Tenable FEC now targets a further 30% growth in 2025.

Over the past year, Tenable FEC secured 540 projects valued at $5.9 million, spanning master planning developments in Oman, the UAE, and KSA. The firm continues to deliver comprehensive fire engineering services for high-end residential, hospitality and mixed-use developments, including landmark properties along the Dubai Water Canal.

Sam’s leadership goes beyond project delivery. As a values-driven CEO, he has implemented wellness initiatives and continues to cultivate a positive and inclusive workplace culture. His people-first approach and focus on operational excellence remain central to Tenable FEC’s success.
